Laura Jade Allen: Hi, I’m Laura; I have just completed my final year at Cleveland College of art and Design, studying towards my degree in Textiles and Surface Design. I specialise in digitally printed wallpapers and other interior designs. I am extremely inspired by all things nature and use this as a starting point for my work. My style is realistic, painted wallpaper designs and detailed botanical drawing. I feel that I am very competent in using Photoshop and Illustrator. My Strengths are painting, drawing, CAD, composition, layout and design for interiors. I am very committed and dedicated to my design work and professional development. I have a strong portfolio on digitally printed wallpaper designs inspired by natural forms. I have exhibited some of the wallpaper collections at Surtax and Indio and also had it displayed on the college stand. In future my goal is to become a self-employed wallpaper designer and build up my own company or do freelance for other companies.
